National Thank You Day
The last 18 months have been difficult for us all and we couldn’t have got through it without all working together.
This Sunday (4 July) is the first National Thank You Day and we would like to thank all of our staff, partners, town and parish councils, businesses, volunteers and emergency services for all their hard work keeping our borough safe during the pandemic.
Our colleagues and partners have kept key services running, collecting bins, delivering advice and guidance (as well as meals), keeping parks and greenspaces open, offering support to businesses and much, much more.
We’d also like to thank our residents for your patience and cooperation during the pandemic.
For more information on Thank You Day, you can visit the Thank You Day website.
Just to remind you that if you are planning any kind of celebration to mark the day, please make sure to follow the current Coronavirus guidance at Gov.UK website.
