Knights Brown has been awarded a place on Hampshire County Council’s Generation 5 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework 2024 – 2028.
- Lot 2 East for projects up to £5m in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, and Kent.
- Lot 2 West for projects up to £5m in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
- Lot 3 with values between £3m and £20m across the combined East and West geography.
This is the fourth consecutive time we have been awarded a place on this framework. The range of expected works under Generation 5 include:
- Retaining walls and culverts, highway structures, footway maintenance and improvement, carriageway construction and surfacing.
- Kerbing and paving, drainage and ducting, traffic signs, street furniture, street lighting, traffic signal equipment and vehicle restraint systems.
- Soft landscaping and vegetation clearance, earthworks and embankment stabilisation, car park construction and surfacing, access roads and other external works to public sector education and research property, traffic management and traffic management design, contractor design, bridge painting and building works associated with civil engineering projects.
- Rail infrastructure, airports, coastal, river and canal flood defences and the construction of waste service facilities.
