The Murray Parish Trust are thrilled to have been selected by Winchester based communications consultancy BECG as their chosen charity. BECG are an award-winning sector specialist communications consultancy for the built environment, with a belief that corporate responsibility and adding social value where possible should be at the heart of every project and development.
Founded in 2014 by actors James Murray and Sarah Parish in memory of their late daughter Ella-Jayne, The Murray Parish Trust is dedicated to the advancement of paediatric emergency medicine across the South of England. The charity is currently running a campaign to fund the development of a revolutionary iMRI Suite at Southampton Children’s Hospital.
Amy McNeill, Head of HR and Operations at BECG said: “My nine year old daughter May has been a patient at Southampton Children’s Hospital since she was born. It’s a place filled with hope and incredible staff, so to be involved in helping to improve the facilities there, on a personal level, is extremely special. I’ve long admired the tangible and significant impact that The Murray Parish Trust makes, and BECG have supported them in an ad hoc capacity for a while. So they were my first port of call when we redesigned BECG’s CSR strategy. We are thrilled to have formalised our partnership with the charity as they continue to make a difference at the hospital.”
Stephen Pomeroy, Founder and CEO of BECG said: “We are delighted to be supporting The Murray Parish Trust’s iMRI Appeal that is working so hard to ensure that children can receive the best care. Their passion, energy and commitment is an inspiration to us all.”
Sarah Parish said: “We have a couple of really exciting fundraising projects in the pipeline and it is brilliant to have the local support and expertise of BECG’s communications team on board at such an early stage.”
James Murray, added: “The on-going support of corporates is vital to the charity’s ability to maximise fundraising potential from the events it holds throughout the year and we’re always excited when a local business choses to support the charity in any way they can”.
Companies can support the charity in a variety of ways: enabling Payroll Giving and employee volunteering; match-funding employees’ initiatives; sponsorship of, attending and providing venues for our events; in-kind donations or nominating us as their Charity of the Year.
