Fareham Borough Council is urging business owners to take part in a short survey to assess what type of support is most needed by businesses during these difficult times.
Many businesses have been hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic with more than 300 forced to close due to restrictions. Fareham Borough Council is therefore looking to find out what support they would find most useful to survive the pandemic and recover afterwards.
By completing this survey (www.fareham.gov.uk/have_your_say/businesssurvey), by 23:59pm on 15 January 2021, the Council can ensure that it responds to and addresses the real needs of businesses in the Borough.
The Council has also made a number of grant schemes available to local business and business owners and encourages them to access the latest information to find out if they are eligible for support by going to www.fareham.gov.uk/business/business_rates/intro.aspx
Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said: “Fareham Borough Council is committed to supporting local businesses during these incredibly difficult times. Although many businesses across the Borough have benefitted from grant funding we have made available, it is really important that we get a clear understanding of what support is needed most moving forward. I would strongly urge business owners to fill in this very brief survey, as it will enable the Council to tailor its support accordingly.”
