Young karter,James Becker, was on his second trip supported by the our new fund. James was competing at Forest Edge Kart Club and although he ran at P3 for some of the race a few crashes pushed him out of contention this time.
This new initiative directly benefits up-and-coming local athletes who will be able to attend events, training, trials and competitions in overseas by travelling on our network. They apply to both Guernsey and Jersey.
Applications from any sport are accepted although the initiative is targeted at those who usually travel with equipment or vehicles e.g. triathlon, cycling, motor sport and those competing in equestrian events.
