Foster carers provide stable homes for children who cannot live with their birth families at the present time. Children who come into the care of Local Authorities are from a wide variety of backgrounds
As a foster carer for Southampton City Council, you can be a single male or female. You can be in a same sex relationship. You can be married, separated or divorced – it really doesn’t matter, as long as you can provide a stable and caring home to enable these children and young people to move into the future confidently and to lead fulfilling lives.
