We are delighted to be able to share with you the results of a project we started with Solent University students almost one year ago.
The pandemic hit just as the brief was submitted and we take great pride in the fact that we have been so agile in our ways of working to be able to mentor five students to create a portal that captures all the great reasons to live, work and make your home in the Central South.
The purpose of this project was to provide paid work experience to students at Solent University and create an asset that would be of benefit to our Business South community. You can see the portal that students have created here: http://www.succeedinthesouth.com/
We would like to say a big thank you to Nettl, our web design agency for their patience and support in helping to manage the team of students and another big thank you to Phillip Tutt from 360PR for his time and support with regards to mentoring the copywriter.
Daniel Wood, Managing Director of Nettl: was delighted with the project. He said:
“Succeed in the South represents a proud achievement for Nettl of Fareham, in partnership with Business South and Solent Creatives. We’re grateful to have been able to support new and upcoming talent within the design and digital forum.“It was a genuine pleasure to work with and mentor such an incredibly talented and enthusiastic group of young designers and developers and the team here are all very proud of the outcome, despite a challenging brief and a tight deadline.
“We hope that we’ve been able to impart some valuable project experience that will continue to serve them all in what we’re certain will be very exciting and prosperous careers.”
