As the top ranking law firm in Dorset, Lester Aldridge has once again achieved excellent rankings in this year’s Chambers guide to leading lawyers.
Lester Aldridge has 15 lawyers named in the independent legal directory including rankings for partners, Mark Benham Grant Esterhuizen, Tom Alder, Kevin Barnett, Chris Evans, Laura Guntrip, Linda Jacques, Russell Kelly and Michael Veal, and a top tier ranking for insolvency partner Nick Keitley.
Partners Matthew Barrow and Roger Woolley have both been ranked as ‘Eminent Practitioners’ for Real Estate (The South). Whilst Rosemary Sharp in our family team has been recognised as a Notable practitioner with clients commenting that “She is excellent at getting to the nub of cases and providing emotional reassurance to the client while being pragmatic about settling.”
Eight of the firm’s practice areas maintained their rankings in the guide: Corporate/M&A, Employment, Family/Matrimonial, Healthcare, Litigation, Real Estate, Restructuring/Insolvency and Shipping.
The Corporate & Commercial team achieved a top tier ranking, with one impressed clients stating: “The team is able to grasp specific complicated matters and propose an understandable solution.” Another client commented, “Their technical knowledge and attention to detail is excellent.”
Client of the Real Estate team commented: “Their deep experience in a vast array of contractual and title issues means they are able to solve issues by providing practical, real-world advice.” Another stated, “Lester Aldridge are very commercial in outlook and provide well-considered solutions to any site-specific issues.”
In addition, the firm was also ranked for Private Wealth in the Chambers HNW 2022 guide published earlier in the year. A source said: “They have a real depth of knowledge and expertise within the team.” Another interviewee commented “The team provides a high level of service and always provides timely and detailed communication.”
Ann Lloyd, Head of the Litigation & Recoveries Group, said: “Chambers have once again recognised our depth and breadth of skills and experience by recommending LA in so many of our practice areas. Chambers undertake a significant number of in-depth client interviews in addition to discussions with peers and the results stand testament to our excellent client service and the fact that we lead the way in so many of our areas of legal expertise.”
Chambers & Partners independent research is conducted by 200 analysts, across 200 jurisdictions and provides nearly 6,000 rankings tables. Annually they collect hundreds of thousands of responses from clients, the majority via in-depth interviews.
