South Coast commercial property specialists at Lambert Smith Hampton have secured the sale of a 31,104 sq ft warehouse unit on behalf of Pensworth – The Dairy Company

The successful purchaser of Imperial House in Empress Road, Southampton, was chosen following a sale process which attracted a large number of interested potential owners.

The sale includes the warehouse unit on a 2.6-acre site with an office building, loading canopy, workshop, and secure yard. John Shannessy of Ellis and Partners in Bournemouth acted on behalf of the private buyer.

Dan Rawlings, Senior Surveyor – Industrial at LSH said: “This was a hotly-contested sale, with enquiries driven by a general lack of land and freehold opportunities in the region. The buyer has significant plans for Imperial House, which will be announced later this year.”

Arthur Dunne, Managing Director at Pensworth, said: “We are grateful for the expertise and regional knowledge of the industrial and logistics team at LSH, who advised throughout the process and whose input was crucial in securing the sale.”

Lambert Smith Hampton, which has offices in Fareham and Southampton, is a multi-award-winning commercial property specialist and has the largest transactional team in the Solent region, with 13 specialists working in the industrial property, office space, retail, leisure and investment markets.
