What an amazing time we had at the Business South Annual Conference.
Business leaders from across the Central South region converged on the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl for a morning of thought-provoking content at an event which has become a key date in the business calendar.
Topics under discussion included the four-day week and future of work; an analysis of the current financial situation facing the country and connectivity issues in the Central South.
And that was all before coffee.
The take aways from the day were many and varied. Delegates were also treated to latest news regarding the long-awaited Welborne development near Fareham; the future for our town and city centres and the prospect of hi-tech electric planes coming to an airport near you soon.
Sir Jonathon Porritt didn’t pull any punches during his hard-hitting keynote address that laid bare the stark choices facing us all and gave everybody food for thought.
Thanks to everyone who attended and for the positive feedback so far – now our thoughts turn to 2023.
