Business South to Host 2019 Annual Regenerate South Conference in Winchester

Sep 10, 2019

People who use Fareham Borough Council’s town centre car parks are being asked how they prefer to pay for their parking, as well as their views on the car parks themselves

The Council will use drivers’ views to help decide on the best parking equipment for the car parks and whether we should offer a greater choice of ways to pay, such as contactless payment or being able to pay by phone. The results of the survey will also be used to plan for future improvements to the car parks.

Residents can take part in the survey by visiting www.fareham.gov.uk/haveyoursay by 26 June. There will also be face-to-face surveys with people parking at some of the town centre car parks.

Executive Member for Health and Public Protection, Councillor Cartwright said: “We know that people expect a choice of easy ways to pay when they visit the town centre for shopping or leisure, so this survey will help us better understand the payment methods that they prefer. We also want to make sure that the Council’s car parks are places that people want to use and visit so their views on how we can improve them in the future are very important”.
