Piers Collins
Over the last 15 years, Piers successfully placed thousands of candidates with hundreds of clients in Investment Banking, Private Equity and Legal.
At 22, Piers was the youngest equity holder in Dartmouth Partners Group and took the business from £0 to £5M ARR. Through this experience he found that he was not placing the best talent but the people that knew most about the industry, usually though their parents.
When he met Esther, they discovered a shared mission to create a level playing field for all young people to access the right career for them and the seed for hundo was planted.
Dr John Flackett
Dr. John Flackett is the co-founder and head of AiLab (Artificial Intelligence Laboratory); a global company with offices in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand (‘AiLab at AUT’ within Auckland University of Technology).
AiLab provides AI education programs, research, and assists companies with effective strategies for implementing AI. Working in AI for nearly 30 years, John is an international AI speaker, educator, and advisor. With a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, John has received various awards and previously spent a decade as a senior university academic teaching AI and Software Engineering in the UK.
Additionally, John was the AI Specialist in Residence and AI Ambassador for Auckland University of Technology, he served as a member of the Australian Federal Government’s Artificial Intelligence Action Plan Committee, he is a PhD supervisor to university students researching AI and is the co-founder of Adelaide AI – the largest AI networking community in South Australia.
Zoe Huggins
Zoe has a strong track record of empowering people in the public, private and third sectors to raise their performance. With 20 years’ experience in the further education sector, she is dedicated and passionate about raising standards in education and the green agenda.
More recently Zoe has worked as Head of Saints Learning, she has been pivotal in bringing elite athlete development principles and psychology into meaningful learning programmes and apprenticeships. Supporting a real impact to commercial business cultures, mental health, wellbeing and performance.
In June 2020 Zoe was elected as Mayor of Gosport for the Municipal year 2020-21, taking on the role of first citizen of the town as the nation was facing unprecedented uncertainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Zoe is motivated to realise the challenges we face in today’s society and economy, with a belief in localism and building communities to enable change and challenge the norm, she shows great character and commitment. She is passionate about developing a workforce’s entrepreneurial capability and mental health & wellbeing by inspiring individuals, building learning communities and creating a culture of connectivity, innovation and true equality.
Laura Bowyer
Laura is a highly skilled and accomplished professional, known for her expertise in Employment Law, HR, and Mediation.
Since establishing The Affable Partnership in August 2011, Laura has cultivated an impressive track record of success, helping numerous organisations navigate complex matters. The founder of The Affable Partnership, she brings a unique blend of legal knowledge and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional services to her clients. With a remarkable ability to seamlessly integrate herself into any business environment, Laura ensures that her clients receive a top-tier experience tailored to their specific needs.
Dan Fawcett
Dan advises clients on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters with a particular focus on discrimination cases. He is renowned for providing pragmatic and commercial advice on complex legal issues.
Additionally, Dan also has expertise in employee data protection matters and often works closely with the firm’s data protection and privacy teams on advice that crosses over with employment law. He also conducts client training on data protection in the workplace.
Dan combines his interests in employment law and data protection issues when considering how AI will impact the world of work. He has delivered client training on this topic and has a keen interest in helping clients navigate the impact of new technology on their workforces.
Dr Alex Zarifis
Dr Alex Zarifis is a lecturer based in the Southampton Business School, at the University of Southampton. He teaches on undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education courses. His research and teaching are on the practical applications of technology in business.
His research interests include trust, electronic business, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Fintech and Insurtech. Dr Alex Zarifis has published extensively on trust in different technologies and business models.
