Following on from a year of record turnover in 2023, Ringwood-based construction company Knights Brown has reported an increase in sales to £101.5m.
In its results for the financial year ended 31 March 2024, gross profit margin increased to a strong 10.1% with operating profit holding steady at £2.1m.
This is the second successive year turnover has surpassed £100m.
Finance Director, Philip Crozier, said: “Performance is in line with expectations as a result of good performances in the energy, coasts and ports sectors. We are pleased to have consolidated our position despite the slowdown experienced in local government infrastructure spending, which impacted further growth.”
Knights Brown’s portfolio includes a strong nationwide reputation in energy and an established regional presence in ports, coastal engineering, water utilities and commercial/industrial buildings.
