From 1st to 7th March 2021, Southampton City Council is proud to be supporting New Family Social’s ‘LGBT+ Fostering & Adoption Week’. New Family Social is a UK charity, led by LGBT+ adopters and foster carers, whose aim is to help LGBT+ people decide if adoption or fostering is right for them, and then support them on their journey to becoming parents and carers.
We are looking to grow our team of foster carers in order to ensure a diverse choice and match of placements is available for children and young people who have come into the care of the Local Authority.
