Creative Director Ed Gould said: “Winning worldwide recognition in the highly respected Hermes Creative Awards is a real honour. Receiving platinum and gold awards for two of our successful campaigns for our clients is a tremendous achievement and a proud moment for all the team.”
CEO of The Solicitors’ Charity Nick Gallagher said: “Congratulations to Carswell Gould for winning this impressive platinum award for its work with us on The Solicitors’ Charity rebrand.
“When faced with the need to help solicitors through the pandemic, we had to take immediate, robust and specific steps.
“Many solicitors in England and Wales were dealing with a mix of complex issues, with reduced resources and income, less support and more isolation, so we created the COVID-19 Personal Hardship Fund as a first response. We soon realised that the charity needed to evolve to meet the needs of people in our profession during this challenging time.
“With marketing support with the rebranding and engagement from Carswell Gould, our name changed from Solicitors’ Benevolent Association to The Solicitors’ Charity. Through our new website, developed by Carswell Gould, we are now able to share news about our expanding range of support and information to reach solicitors who are most in need of help.
“As a result of the charity’s rebrand, between January and October 2020, we funded 42% more cases and helped 60% more people compared to the same period in 2019 and we will continue to provide this sustained and far-reaching support to those solicitors in need.”
Emily Braybrook, Design Lead on both projects, added: “It’s brilliant to see our work getting this sort of recognition and winning international awards – I’m super proud to have played a part in making these projects alongside the Carswell Gould team and our brilliant clients at The Solicitors’ Charity and WP Group.”
Mark Clouter, Commercial Manager of WP Group said: “We are delighted that our Red Diesel Switch Campaign with Carswell Gould has won gold in the Hermes Creative Awards.
“The change to duty on Red Diesel is a major change in our market, arguably the most significant the industry has experienced. Providing our customers with vital information to inform their future fuelling choices is a critical process for us. The WP Group also ensures its customers are aware of positive and sustainable options for the future.
“The Red Diesel Switch Campaign has generated many interactions with both existing and new customers and has allowed us to fully comply with any obligations while capitalising on opportunities the change brings for both us and our customer base.
“We’re delighted with the results of the campaign so far and sure that it will benefit our customers in the long-term.”
Carswell Gould’s work for The Solicitors’ Charity has also been shortlisted as a finalist for the Re-brand or Re-launch Strategy of the Year award at The Drum Marketing Awards 2022. Winners will be announced on June 15th.
