From Saturday 11 to Sunday 19 February, Network Rail will carry out planned engineering work which will close the railway between Guildford and Petersfield, meaning no trains will serve these stations for nine days. The attached map shows where the line will be closed
A rail replacement bus service has been arranged and will serve Petersfield and the other affected stations instead. During this nine-day period, please check your whole journey before you travel by visiting the South Western Railway website, which will explain where you can find the rail replacement buses:

The work is part of the Portsmouth Direct Upgrade programme to enhance customer journeys between London Waterloo and the Portsmouth area. This major investment will replace decades old equipment and infrastructure, which will improve performance and resilience for many years to come.
