EBP South are pleased to be returning to Portsmouth Guildhall for the 10th year for Get Inspired Portsmouth 2024, in partnership with The Guildhall Trust and Barratt Developments plc. The event aims to inspire young people about careers in their local area through taking part in activities with local businesses. Over 30 businesses are due to attend the event, helping to bridge the skills gap and giving back to their local community.

The event, which is also sponsored by BAE Systems Maritime and Southern Co-operative, raises aspirations in young people and helps businesses to engage and motivate the future workforce. At Get Inspired Portsmouth 2023 84 percent of student respondents who attended the event said they had learnt about job types or careers that they did not know about before the event. 100 percent of respondents from businesses who attended the event said that they would recommend others participate in this type of event.
