St. Mary’s Stadium provided the perfect backdrop for a sumptuous evening at Southampton Football Club for the Business South Champion Directors Dinner.
Guests mingled during a drink’s reception in the Kinghtwood Lounge, follow by a delicious meal served in the recently renovated Halo Lounge. The swish new décor of the suite, which offers the finest pitch-facing views, was the perfect setting for Phil Parsons, CEO of Southampton Football Club to welcome guests.
Phil recounted his journey from Dyson to steering a Premier League Club and the challenges and excitement of the role. How he kicked off his job search via a LinkedIn message, how multi-million-pound deals are sealed on WhatsApp, and keeping stum about the January transfer window.
We heard from Business South Group CEO Leigh-Sara Timberlake, and Lesley Alcock from Platinum Media and finally, Conrad Ford of Allica Bank the event sponsor, who shared his passion for business and the Central South region.
