The Knights Foundation, a Charity working to support carers and families of children with disabilities, has teamed up with Business South to further promote their work to businesses.
Business South has welcomed The Knights Foundation as a new Champion to their business network, to help promote and support the charity’s inclusive work in the community.
The Anthony Knights Foundation Trust offers support to carers and families managing disabilities throughout their everyday life. The charity offers aid to disabled children, deprived children, seriously ill children and their families through providing supportive or life changing equipment, sensory experience days out and opportunities to work with local businesses to get appropriate work placements.
The Hampshire-based charity opened a specially adapted holiday lodge in the New Forest earlier this year. Located near the coast at Milford-On-Sea, the lodge is a place where families can go for a respite break away in a fully accessible environment, adapted with hoists and equipment, whilst not compromising on luxury.
“We are passionate about making differences in lives and our supporters and volunteers share that passion” says Nicky Banger, Chief Executive of The Knights Foundation. “Our corporate patrons are instrumental to our work. We welcome the opportunity to work with new companies in a partnership that aligns with your brand values whilst supporting the vital work that we do in supporting families whom have children with mental or physical disabilities.”
“Through its unique model of business connectivity, Business South is not just an organisation, it is a community and one which very much supports the charitable sector” explains Leigh-Sara Timberlake, Executive Director at Business South. “Business South Champions share an ethos of working together to deliver campaigns that benefit the Central South region as a whole. Business South is a catalyst for bringing responsible leaders together and we work with and support a carefully selected number of charitable organisations. The work of The Knights Foundation is inspiring and we hope to inspire the business community to also support their work.”
