Savills planning teams in the south east have welcomed four new joiners.
Erin Fairweather has joined the team in Southampton as an urban designer, having moved from Savills Birmingham office, where she started as a graduate urban designer.
Her experience is primarily in residential sites from 100-unit masterplans to sustainable urban extensions and a large part of her role is graphic and visual communication, creating technical plans and drawings, illustrations and visualisations. Erin will be applying for urban practitioner status in April this year.
Dan Lane has joined the team in Southampton as a planner and he will be working towards RTPI accreditation later this year. He has joined Savills having previously worked at Neame Sutton planning consultancy in Waterlooville, where he was an assistant planner. Prior to that, he worked for St Albans City and District Council as a graduate planning officer. Dan grew up locally and after going to university in Portsmouth and then moving to St Albans, he moved back to Droxford in the Meon Valley.
Lizzie Withall, who started her career as a graduate in the Petworth planning team in 2016, has returned to Savills following two years at ECE Architecture and Planning. Lizzie, who lives in Hove, has joined the team at Savills Brighton office. Lizzie is an associate member of the RTPI and is working towards becoming chartered this year.
Sophie Johnston has also joined Savills south east planning team, in Guildford, having previously worked at the firm’s Reading and Birmingham offices.
Gavin Hall, head of office at Savills Southampton, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Erin, Dan, Lizzie and Sophie to the planning and urban design teams in the south east. Our team continues to go from strength to strength and it’s a very busy time for us, with lots of exciting projects in the pipeline. It is great to have such a committed and growing team helping to deliver these schemes.”
