Business leaders from across the Central South will promote the region at the world’s leading and most influential property event, MIPIM, in Cannes this March.
A business-led consortium will promote all that is best in the Central South on a global stage at the showcase event which runs from March 11th to 14th 2025.
Chair of the Business South Regenerate South group and head of Savills Central South office, Gavin Hall explained: “MIPIM international property conference is the most important property, financing and investment event in the world.
“It is vital that the Central South is represented at this important event to showcase the fantastic economic and environmental assets of our region and to highlight the significant opportunities for investment in key development and regeneration projects.
“The support provided by the private sector enables the region and public sector partners to be represented on the world stage. This partnership approach encourages capital into the region and provides an opportunity for the partners, public and private alike, to engage in projects and opportunities whilst away in a frenetic four days of promotion and exploring ways to attract investment and unlock opportunities for the region to prosper.”
The initiative is being championed by Business South and endorsed by business leaders, local authorities and organisations such as Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
Business South Group CEO, Leigh-Sara Timberlake said: “MIPIM is the world’s leading international real estate show for attracting investment into projects, cities and countries – and we are proud to fly the flag for the Central South.
“We are working in association with the Department of Trade and the British Property Federation to ensure the visibility of the Central South with regards to attracting inward investment.”
