Wates Group, one of the leading privately-owned, construction, development and property services companies in the UK, has become a Business South Champion, joining 150 leading businesses across the Central South region to support economic development and foster growth.

Business South provides a collective business voice and addresses sector challenges through 5 industry Action Groups; Regenerate South, Workforce South, Digital South, Cruise & Port and Luxury South.
The Regenerate South Action Group focuses on the opportunities, challenges and delivery of promoting the south as an attractive region for investment and the needed infrastructure. The Group supports and promotes major development schemes and potential sites across the region, focusing on opportunities and challenges to promote the South an attractive region for investment.
