Waverley Borough Council has been allocated £1 million of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and £400,000 of the Rural England Prosperity Fund, towards key projects in disadvantaged areas of the borough. These funds have been allocated across Waverley and impact of these on the community will be fed back to government.
Funding will go towards 14 projects, including four Youth and Community Support Hubs in Godalming, Haslemere, Cranleigh and Farnham, the Hoppa Community Transport scheme, and a domestic abuse community support programme. There are also funds to encourage business sustainability and net zero targets.
