At the start of this new financial year, Fareham Borough Council is offering businesses the opportunity to increase their brand exposure, through a range of community event sponsorships.
The Council delivers a number of popular and well attended community events throughout the year, encouraging people into the town and helping to create a vibrant place to live and work. The ‘Community Sponsorship Opportunities’ brochure outlines all the events available for headline or partial sponsorship: www.fareham.gov.uk/sponsorship
Events with sponsorship opportunities to fit any budget include:
- Pop Up Beach (Sold)
- 999 Day
- Fareham’s Big Weekend (new for 2025!)
- Bygone Fareham
- Play Day
- Fareham Christmas Lights Switch On
Council events attract thousands of Fareham residents throughout the year and provide community event partners with a unique opportunity to support the local community and gain positive brand exposure, while enhancing what the Council is able to offer at the events.
Businesses that are interested in becoming a community event partner, but are not able to sponsor, can also donate their services or physical elements such as barriers, toilets, lighting and printing, in exchange for brand promotion in the lead up to and at the event.
Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: “As a new financial year gets underway, businesses are often thinking of how they can enhance their corporate social responsibility through charitable giving or sponsorship opportunities. Council events are incredibly popular among Fareham residents and are vitally important to the town centre. What better way to promote your business than through the sponsorship of these well loved and community focused events.”
