As one of the first colleges in the UK to provide an innovative supported apprenticeship programme, we are particularly proud to have been recognised for the ambitious pathways and support for SEND learners to achieve economic independence.
The College’s supported Employment (SEMP), Supported Internship (SINT) and supported apprenticeship (SAPP) curriculum pathway model is enhanced be the opportunity for learners to develop independent living skills at College House which has consistently been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted since it was launched 16 years ago.
Chief Executive & Principal Designate, Paul Cox, said: “The judging panel fed back that the calibre of applications was impressively high this year, so being shortlisted is great achievement, and testament to the dedication and hard work of the Eastleigh College team.”
