Business leaders from across the region converged on The Kennels Clubhouse at Goodwood for the latest Directors’ Dinner.
Welcome drinks were served on the terrace which overlooks Goodwood House before guests settled at their tables for dinner.
Goodwood CEO, Chris Woodgate, welcomed everyone and shared a little of the history of the estate. He explained the Kennels was built for the Duke of Richmond’s hunting hounds and was famously central heated.
Having navigated through the difficulties of the pandemic, Goodwood is busier than ever, he said.
Business South Group CEO, Leigh-Sara Timberlake, set the scene for the Slido discussion which focused on the vision for the Central South.
“I am often asked what our aspiration is for the Central South but I explain it is not up to Business South to set the agenda.
“We want business leaders to tell us what their vision is and we can help to promote that to a wider audience,” she said.
Over a delicious dinner, guests made valuable connections and shared their thoughts on the Central South. Feedback on the Slido poll, which will be circulated to attendees.
