How do customers really see your business? Independent assessments available
If you would like to see how well prepared you are to receive valuable customers, Waverley Borough Council are offering a limited number of businesses the opportunity of an independent assessment. This will show you how your customers see your business, offer confidential feedback and advice, and a place on a retail excellence session that will give tips and ideas to give your customers the very best experience, and help you increase sales.
We will be working with Jim Smith at Insight6 on this support project.
In addition to these one-to-one sessions Jim will host a Free customer service webinar session – 21st June 6pm – 7pm

Support for the film sector
The film industry is such an integral part of the economy in Waverley – the economic impact of filming in the borough of Waverley – from small independent productions to Hollywood blockbusters is huge.
In the financial year 2021/22, filming activity in Surrey brought £4.2 million into the local economy and a huge slice of that – £2.6 million – came to Waverley.
To develop this, the Waverley economic team have joined Creative England and created a promotional video. Film Waverley will be launched on the 29th June at the University of Creative Arts in Farnham.
Waverley’s road to recovery – video clips
Every business in Waverley has been touched by the pandemic, some sectors much more than others. We asked Witley based videographer, Simon Hill, to film a selection of local entrepreneurs, finding out how they have adapted and transformed their businesses over the last two years.
The short video clips offer a wide range of perspectives from businesses as diverse as Godalming Travel, Idyllic Spa in Cranleigh, Manika’s Kitchen in Haslemere and Branston Adams in Farnham. We hope you enjoy watching them.
If you have a business in Waverley and would like to provide a case study for future projects, please contact business.support@waverley.gov.uk
