Directors of the Future Dinner
Building on the success of our Directors of the Future dinners, when students from our Colleges and Universities join business leaders from across the Central South at the dinner table, we are planning to mix-up the format for our September gathering.
We’d like business leaders to bring their rising stars to the dinner, so they can meet with others who are embarking on their careers and share their point of view with those who have made their mark in our business community. They will also receive a complimentary ticket to our next Start Networking event!
The aim of the evening is to stimulate discussion around issues, challenges and opportunities, while also providing a platform for business leaders to inspire future employees.

Ben Howells
Ben is an experienced, multi-sector chief people officer and executive coach having led some of the UK’s fastest growing businesses in biotech, fintech and more, as well as across broader private equity portfolios in the US, UK & EU.
Now Ben leads his own advisory consultancy, Oppo, supporting business leaders with strategic coaching, culture shaping and leadership capability as well as being a visiting fellow on leadership for Kings Business School, London.
Ben is a partner consultant for The Escape, a Hampshire based creative agency and Business South champion supporting their clients with executive coaching, leadership brand and operationalising culture.
