A group of 12 councils across Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight have launched a major public engagement to help shape how local services are delivered in future. This is part of Government-led reforms to simplify the current two-tier system and create new, single councils responsible for everything from planning and roads to adult social care and business support.
The survey, available now at ourplaceourfuture.commonplace.is, asks residents, businesses and organisations to share what matters most about their community, local identity, and how services should be run. Responses will directly inform the proposals submitted to Government later this year.
As a business leader or stakeholder in the region, your insights are vital. Whether you’re based in a city or a rural hub, serving local communities or international clients, we want to hear what works for you and what could work better.
Take 10 minutes to help shape your future local council. Complete the survey now at ourplaceourfuture.commonplace.is.
Let’s make sure our local government reflects the places we live, work, and do business.
