The Arena Business Centre team were thrilled to host their inaugural Arena Conference event at their newest location in Camberley last month. The centre – the first for Arena in Surrey opened in July following a £4m investment programme and the conference event brought together the local business community for a day of inspirational talks from business leaders in the Surrey Heath area.
The team were honoured to have amongst the speakers sharing their industry insights and expertise; globally ranked Top 100 CMO – Jarmila Yu, Urgency Addiction expert and Surrey IOD chair – Richard Maybury, critical thinking consultant – John Acton, high energy public speaking coach – Ges Ray and finally Start Up of the Year finalist – Bill Palmer.
Entrepreneurs, SME’s and corporates alike met within the airy penthouse workspace and the event was opened by the Mayor of Surrey Heath,Cllr Robin Perry. Teresa Hogsbjerg of Surrey Economic Development and Paul Scott of EM3 were also in attendance.
The day was supported by fabulous presentation screens supplied by Avocor, seating by Furniture Hire UK, fresh coffee by HEJ and delicious lunch by The Great Little Catering Company.
The team are now looking ahead to 2020 and creating closer links within the Surrey business community.
