Local Produce Trade Show – Exhibitors
Do you have food or beverage produce to showcase to catering buyers from the South?
Business South, Southampton & Region Hoteliers Association, Cavendish Ship Stores, Hampshire Fare, Enterprise South and Carnival UK, invite producers and suppliers from the South to exhibit at the Local Produce Show 2025.
The event is in it’s 17th Year and provides a great platform for producers and suppliers to showcase their fantastic range of local food, beverage and produce to a wide and influential selection of catering & hospitality trade buyers from the region.
What to expect:
- 350 local food and beverage buyers, chefs and caterers pre registered in 2024
- Exhibitors will have the opportunity to join a pre exhibition seminar to hear from a variety of speakers involved with local produce and the food industry
- The opportunity to add some of your produce to the buyer goody bags
- Meet and ask questions to our expert panel of regional influential buyers

Event Speakers
Peter Morgan
Peter Morgan spent the first half of his career in management behind the scenes with Producers and hospitality venues. Peter always wanted to branch out on his own and the stars aligned in 2019, turning a long held dream into reality.
Peter is a self-taught cheesemaker and The Book & Bucket Cheese Company started with a book full of recipes and a stainless-steel bucket – hence the name. The philosophy and ethos are still the same, taking inspiration from the countryside surrounding the dairy, but these days, Peter has 500-litre vats as “buckets”!
Since launching, many of Peter’s cheeses have received a number of prestigious awards. In 2024 alone, Peter received 11 awards including a 3 Great Taste Stars for Cranborne Blue and a Gold World Cheese Award for ‘Captain’s Wheel’, a bespoke cheese The Book & Bucket Cheese Company makes in partnership with Cunard.
Caroline Beer
Caroline had worked at Boka Food from the beginning when the first Boka bar was produced and has seen the business grow from a small family online B2C business to a Hampshire based manufacturer of cereal bars and supplier to the main Foodservice organisations.
Drawing on past career experiences in sales and HR Caroline has overseen the growth of Boka sales in Foodservice and online currently working with wholesalers of all sizes and independent local businesses.
In 2024 Boka transformed their warehouse to cereal bar factory Caroline recruited the production team; managers and operatives.
Caroline as everyone at Boka is passionate about transparency in food labelling and marketing and supports the use of Food Standards Agencies front of pack traffic light labelling across all products.
Jo Coleman
After an earlier career in charity, politics and ice-cream where Jo worked at another Hampshire B Corp, Jude’s icecream, Jo, joined the family business in 2018.
Summerdown grows, harvests and distills the rare Black Mitcham peppermint alongside other herbs and crops on their farm based in Malshanger, just outside Basingstoke. The peppermint oil they distill is the star ingredient in their range of award-winning chocolates, teas and treats now sold in food halls, delis and farm shops up and down the UK and globally.
Jo, who is founder Sir Michael Colman’s grandson, shares the family ethos that the family are merely custodians of the land and are on a mission to leave the land in better condition then when they started farming it.
