Business South Champion Liquid Friday is delighted to introduce Lewis Gosling as their new liaison for the Business Network.
As Head of Technical Implementation at the Portsmouth-based workforce solutions firm, Lewis brings over a decade of industry experience and a strong commitment to the community.
Lewis is a great example of how apprenticeships can open doors to rewarding careers. Having started at Liquid Friday as a business administration apprentice in 2011, he has worked his way up through the organisation and now champions apprenticeships as a pathway to developing skills and talent in the region. Lewis went on to join the payroll team, later becoming Team Leader and in 2018 took over as Head of Payroll.
In April this year, he stepped into his current role, where he ensures that the business stays aligned with all legislative, tax and technical requirements. This includes overseeing the systems, tools and training that Liquid Friday’s people need to deliver their award-winning service.
Outside of work, Lewis is highly involved in his local community. He has served as a Portsmouth City councillor, plays an active role in Portsmouth Pride and was instrumental in setting up a local community food pantry. More recently, he took part in CEO Sleepout UK alongside other Portsmouth business leaders, to raise awareness of homelessness.
Lewis is looking forward to building connections across the Business South Network and working with fellow Champions to support the region’s growth and prosperity.
