With developments in the Central South stalling due to capacity constraints on the National Grid and the recent news that it can take a decade to build a new power line due to planning restrictions, energy has become a major discussion point for our Regenerate South Action Group.
Research has been undertaken by Savills led by their Central South office and this will be shared with MPs at a meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Central South.

A delicious highlight of the Business South year, our Local Produce Trade Show spotlights the amazing produce on our doorstep and promotes buying local.
Initially set-up as a means to enable cruise ships that home port in Southampton to include local produce on their menus, this much-loved event has grown to become a showcase that enables a wider network of local businesses, universities and hotels to meet and do business with local producers.
