The latest Regenerate South meeting, chaired by Gavin Hall, brought members together to focus on driving regional growth, regeneration, and investment across the Central South.
Members reviewed the Priorities for Good Growth paper, which is designed to give the Mayoral Candidates a clear business voice and priorities for Business South Champions to take. There was strong support for the document with an emphasis on promoting regional success stories and a positive narrative for the area.
Discussions also covered key areas for action over the next year, including the establishment of a Central South Office for Investment, tackling stalled and strategic sites, aligning growth zones with energy and transport strategies, refreshing the region’s identity and communications, and supporting skills and workforce development.
The next Regenerate South meeting is scheduled for 3 March 2026, 10:00–11:00 via Teams.
