Business South’s Leisure & Wellbeing Group champions the role that health and wellbeing play in creating productive businesses, thriving communities and a stronger regional economy.

The group provides a platform to share ideas, showcase innovation and develop practical initiatives that help organisations create healthier, happier workplaces across the Central South.

Recognising that employee wellbeing is fundamental to long-term business success, the group encourages organisations to embed health, activity and wellbeing into everyday working life, helping to improve productivity, engagement and workforce resilience.

Our Goals

Our Leisure & Wellbeing Action Group aims to inspire organisations across the Central South to place health and wellbeing at the heart of workplace culture. By sharing best practice, championing innovative approaches and encouraging collaboration, the group supports initiatives that improve physical and mental wellbeing, promote healthier lifestyles and create more engaged and productive workforces.

The group also seeks to develop a network of Health Champions across Business South’s membership, creating opportunities to share knowledge, promote workplace wellbeing initiatives and connect organisations with resources that make a lasting difference.

Through practical action and collaboration, the group’s ambition is to help create a healthy workforce that drives healthy growth across the Central South.
