Fareham Borough Council is inviting residents and businesses to provide feedback on its emerging proposals for Swordfish Business Park at Daedalus.
Following a successful in-person event at Crofton Community Centre yesterday, 21 July, to discuss the plans, those who were unable to attend can now view detailed information about the proposals and complete a short feedback form to share their thoughts on the proposals and help shape the planning application here:
www.fareham.gov.uk/swordfishengagement
This forms part of the Council’s public engagement activity ahead of submitting a planning application for the scheme and the deadline for feedback is Tuesday 4 August 2026.
Swordfish Business Park is allocated in the Local Plan for employment use and sits within the Solent Enterprise Zone. The emerging proposals are to enable infrastructure to support new employment space.
Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Simon Martin, said: “I was glad to see so many people at our in-person event to discuss our plans for Swordfish Business Park at Daedalus. We want to hear from as many people as possible, so if you were unable to attend the event, I encourage you to give us your feedback online. Together we can create even more skilled employment opportunities for local people at Daedalus as well as attract future investment into the area. Your feedback can help us shape these plans.”
