New Forest District Council (NFDC)’s Platinum Jubilee Business Park in Ringwood, a £9.5 million investment, has been operational for over 2 years.
The business park is home to a diverse range of businesses, including an ICT infrastructure technology company, a soft drinks distributor, engineering businesses and a commercial artist, with opportunities for more businesses to join.
Cllr Jeremy Heron, NFDC’s portfolio holder for finance and corporate, commented: “We are proud to support both businesses and the community through our investments. The Platinum Jubilee Business Park is a testament to our commitment to fostering economic growth and providing opportunities for local enterprises. We encourage businesses to join our vibrant community and benefit from the excellent facilities and sustainable features of the park.”
80% of the available floorspace space is already leased, with a few units remaining for businesses looking to occupy office or industrial units.
The units are fitted-out to a high specification and the industrial units come with an electric loading door and allocated parking spaces.
The development incorporates PV solar panels providing an average of 4kW of electricity per unit and an estimated annual carbon saving of over 13 tonnes for the estate. Additionally, electric vehicle charging points are available for all units. The EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings are A+ (the highest) A and 1 B rating.
